My photo was rejected by the passport office. What now?
PicPass produces photos that meet the official specifications for each country, but some embassies apply additional subjective judgements (slight smile, hair across forehead, "background not uniform enough"). If your photo was rejected, retake it with the corrected detail and try again — your remaining credits still apply. If you believe the rejection was due to a PicPass bug, email us with the rejection reason and we'll investigate.
I bought credits but can't save my photo.
Open the Result screen and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. This re-syncs your purchase status with the App Store. If that doesn't resolve it, email us with your Apple receipt and we'll fix it.
How long do my credits last?
Each purchase gives you 3 photo downloads, valid for 30 days. After 30 days unused credits expire — you'll need to buy a new pack if you want to download more photos.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Open the App Store, tap your profile photo, tap Purchases, find PicPass, and select Report a Problem. Apple's refund policy applies.
Does PicPass work without internet?
Yes for taking photos — all face detection, cropping, and compliance checks run on your device. You'll need a connection only for initial app download and when purchasing credits.
My country isn't listed.
PicPass currently supports 120+ countries and 200+ document types. If yours isn't there, email us with the country and document type and we'll add it in the next update.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Photos are processed entirely on your device. We collect only anonymous crash diagnostics (no photos, no faces). See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
How do I delete my data?
PicPass stores no personal data on our servers. To remove all app data, uninstall PicPass — that deletes everything.
