PicPass

Terms of Service — Effective 1 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PicPass ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PicPass is a mobile application that helps users take passport photos, driver's licence photos, and other ID photos that align with official government specifications. The App processes photos entirely on your device and provides automated compliance checks against known document specifications.

3. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Important: PicPass does not guarantee that any photo produced by the App will be accepted by any government agency, embassy, consulate, or other authority. Photo requirements may change without notice, and acceptance decisions are made solely by the issuing authority. PicPass's compliance checks are designed to reduce the chance of rejection, not eliminate it. Always verify requirements with your issuing authority before submitting.

4. In-App Purchases

PicPass offers an in-app purchase to download your processed photos in high resolution. Each purchase includes 3 photo downloads valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, so you can retake or try different photos without paying again. Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. PicPass does not process payments directly.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to PicPass. All photo processing occurs on your device. No images, facial data, or personal information are collected, transmitted, or stored by PicPass. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by PicPass. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App. Photos you take using the App belong to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PicPass disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that compliance checks will be accurate for all jurisdictions and document types.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicPass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to rejected photos, missed deadlines, or additional costs incurred due to photo rejection.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
